The Sport Brief is very lightweight; none of the elastic bands cut into my legs or waist. Additionally, there is no waistband or leg hole piping. Instead, the Intymen logo is printed on the front of the brief.
I do not normally wear briefs, but the transition from trunks to the sport brief was not noticeable or distracting throughout the day. The fabric was not tight at all. The fabric gave enough that I didn’t feel like I was shrink-wrapped wearing them.
The rise was a little too low for me. If it had a large waistband to it, then it would be a perfect fit. I was almost falling out from the back when I put them on. If I were to order these briefs again, I would order the next size up from what I usually wear in other brands.
I wish the underwear did not have a satin tag to it. It feels special enough that it doesn’t need a label to it and is delicate enough where I could feel the tag rubbing at some points throughout the day.
Also, this underwear CANNOT be machine-washed. The label says hand-wash and air-dry only.
The fabric blend is similar to athletic jerseys or mesh shorts. Because of this, it does have a synthetic feeling to it. Think of these briefs as sportswear lingerie.
The sport brief is perforated with little holes all over. Up close, I could barely see through them. From far away, it looks like any other pair of underwear (it may be different under bright lights).
